HOSPICE NURSING POSITIONS
Exciting opportunity for the right individuals. The opening of Charles County’s first hospice inpatient facility is around the corner. We are looking for energetic and positive team members to provide the highest levels of care. Applicants for all positions must possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, demonstrate ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patients’ needs. Ability to flex schedule is a must.
REGISTERED NURSE Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills. Prior nursing experience, preferably in med/surg area.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT COORDINATOR
Will initially be responsible for a group of patients and provides professional care in accordance with treatment plans and the nursing processes. Must possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, demonstrate ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient’s needs. Position will transfer to performance improvement coordinator position after sufficient orientation and with opening of inpatient hospice house. PI Coordinator position will coordinate all aspects of organizational performance review/improvement activities associated with regulatory and accreditation agencies. Responsibilities include monitoring & evaluation activities, interdisciplinary team support, ongoing performance analysis/internal results reporting/tracking and management. Develops/maintains system for ongoing concurrent results review, mechanisms for timely communication & subsequent follow-up action by responsible leaders and recommends appropriate improvement action to management.
